Re: Re: Re: C C T

As they say, C C T, Faith is a faculty higher than Reason. Isn't non-belief also a form of belief? The theist and the atheists are both believers. I rather prefer agnostics as  more genuine than either. An agnostc says 'I don't know whether God is or is not', they set out to find. To answer your question whether we are, as humans, qualified to receive such beauteous gift as the soul, the answer is in the affirmative, most certainly yes. We are engulfed in it that is why it remains unseen. A philsophical fish once asked I have heard the sea is all around but I have never seen it, so I will find out. He went on all directions, to the top and bottom of the sea, but as the anecdote says, he did not find it anywhere. So he concluded that there is no sea. Similar is man's condition. Thanks again, Sir.

Re: Re: C C T

Sir I can't help wondering if we are worthy of such a beautiful gift.

Some believe that we are a living wonderful organism, something that has achieved through progress, intelligence. Of course I believe in a power inconceivable to imagine. One one has to have faith in something as it would be very lonely without some form of powerful attachment.  As you say and it is so right do do so, we have a rather lost touch with belief. Strangely though it is still ingrained in our make up as we soon turn to a higher source of power when forced by circumstances to admit it is our only salvation.

Let's see what else we can, if it doesn't come through.

Re: Re: Aba brother

Okay, this is frustrating as I answered in detail right away. Will try again, Brother Aba.

Re: Aba Dear Teacher and Brother

And I humbly bow my head to you dear Sis, in gratitude. Initially I thought not many will appreciate the details, also that whether I will be able to give out a meaningful presentation. It all a started with GM's queries, and I am happy that he too has come to understand the fineries of the dialogues after many doubtful obstacles. And then I had people like you, Kabu, Sam and Shamasehar. I must say I am blessed.

Re: C C T

Perhaps we are not on the same page as far as the soul is concerned. Suppose there is a body without a soul, or the spirit! it is lifeless, meaningless. What will you call it? A corpse, fit only to be buried or burnt. The West can comprehend only material things, and that is why they miss out on the essentials. There s nothing there in the world other than the eternal, and that eternal is the soul of all that be. Thanks, Sir.

Since the soul is the very essence of who we are I feel that CCT is wrong but I am just a student of our dear teacher.

Well the advice hardly seems rational, It assumes I think that the soul is the only item worth saving. That is great as long as humans really do have souls. I would rather trust the logic of the mind and the justice of an honest decent person.  Good blog Sir.

Aba Dear Teacher and Brother

I just had to read this post right now. And it is absolutely my favorite in the series. Such comforting and wise logic. Your skill and gifts, your talent for teaching, is evident. For now, I can only humbly say 'a big thank you.' Beautifully done, well told. Magnificent.
