I don't disagree with any of that, Annicita.
My problem lies in whether or not this was an arbitrary change of rules or punishment for a "Sin" of perception.

Satire or not, if you are running for an office your speech is a reflection of you and what you hope to accomplish in said office.
Many thought trump was downright hilarious and would supposedly change things...instead we are going backwards, burning bridges with allies etc.

This is a great post! I think many have gone wonkers lately, as this post shows. I do recall a few times I veered off, and though the work was good, it wasn't what, as one English professor and another Art teacher said, the "assignment." Yep...

OMG you are brilliant and sometimes in this day and age all these fancy devices should be confiscated at the door. It appears that his speech was a very clever satire on the POTUS... and as for what you were told about very well wrttien but off topc...exactly the same thing happened to me with my very first nursing assignment...I wept buckets. LOL

I believe part of the problem today is that satire has become reality. No one can distinguish between a joke or sarcasm and truth. If you watch shows like VEEP or Scandal or even House of Cards... they were supposed to be satired or exaggerated versions of our administration. But the line for satire has been blurred....
But this may just be another fake comment... time for more covfefe....
