Last weekend, there were numerous Muslim protests "against Sharia Law" all over the US and perhaps elsewhere. They seem to have been coordinated by Bridgette Gabriel and her organization. I love watching her appear on TV, which she does almost every day, on all the major TV news channels. I did not look into this closely, but it sounds like we have the rumblings of a Muslim reform movement. Let us give credit, where credit is due!! Cheers

I have heard, but not seen, that ISIS posts listings of slaves for sale on the internet. Most of them are Christian or Yazidi girls captured, after the rest of their family was killed in horrible ways (beheaded, burned, crucified, etc.). And as you report here, much of Islam all over the world supports this. What more proof do we need, that Islam is a reliigion of predatory evil, and is irredeemable. No Cheers here

Sadly, the Western Left ignores a lot of things about Islam besides the slavery from the incredibly heinous treatment of women and gays to its views on Judaism.

Kabu, all your examples are cases in which we may speak figuratively of slavery. However, nowhere but in Islam is slavery an officially sanctioned, legal and even divinely ordained practice!

Don't be naughty and act dumb!! haiti...quite openly they take a poor cousin or two and turn them in to slaves for the family.
If you don't believe that illegal immigrants in America who work the farms picking fruit and vegetables isn't slave labour. They never pay of their debt. They never see their money.
Many Asian people...(I know first hand from mu friends in Singapore) will choose a child to have no life of their own but to be at the beck and call to the rest of the family...
Same happens in Greece... Yes met some of these people, usually kidnapped women from Russia...is that enough?
