Good old Son 1. I am getting to like him much more. If you enjoy the bustle, it is fine, you can always say you support the crowd majority.  Don't see many polictical rallies here, no one seems to care two hoots.

Just be aware of the futire history in this part of your life love. I'm a media major. Electronic news gathering too. I want your eye.

A lot of families are dealing with divisions right now, it seems.

It's about what is most important in a person's life.

For some, it's about being correct and being seen to be correct. For some it's about making and having money or power or simply options. For you, it's about love and family, in all its variety and extremes. When they all get tired of arguing and combat, you will be there for them to rest and be loved.

TAPS

I think you are handling this situation with tact and intelligence. Families do tend to become polarized in their thinking at times. I wish it wasn't so. They should just enjoy visiting with you, and allow you to enjoy visiting with them.

I find it hard to stomach the rantings of those who think he is doing a great job and how crappy obama was...I wasn't pro obama but I give credit to the man who lasted 8 years with so many against him

Taps you are not alone.  It's like this everywhere.  It's hard not to look at family or friends differently these days based on the arguments they support.  For me, it's not about policies or left vs. right.  It's about human decency.

Taps

I say just be your loving self and leave politics out of it love.

You and I don't agree much on politics and it has absolutely nothing about how I respect and love you so much. Be blessed and do no worry over how another feels about you only how you feel about others.

I think the political sides are more polarized now than at any time

in the past - and while I enjoy debating, I'm not enjoying the way tempers seem to flare over things. It's not business as usual. I hope you have a great time with your family.

I never get into politics anymore with my sister, because if she goes any further to the right, she'll fall off something. LOL. and she has become very argumentative as she gets older but I refuse to discuss anything political with her; or contraversial on any subject.

If this makes you and I wishy washy older ladies in the eyes of some others, then so be it. I know that you have certain standards of behaviour and that you have a wonderful Faith and are a truly beautiful person and if some family think that you should side with them or whatever and not speak to other people you love, then that is something they should swallow themselves. Not put onto you. You tell anyone who says anything, to speak to me. LOL.
