I can only cope by playing solitair which isn't really a great passtime
I stay on FB because I have a few good friends there and the Australian younger ser, now turning 50 difficult to believe, but that is the way it is.and step Grandchildren who when their real Nan who I was great friends with, died they raced to nan #2.

No I can't be bothered with FB. Someone I know has 200 friends and won't answer the door to anyone. Keeps your hands supple good therapy, constructive pastime.

My friends have millions of ways (okay, three or four) of getting in touch with me, and I with them...There are untold thousands of books waiting to be read that I will never have time to read, but I try. There are many more miles to be walked, places to be explored - more than I will ever be able to cover... But I have never - and never will be - wasting my time in that shallow wading pool of FB, full of...
Crocheting is an entirely different matter - I see it as a creative ritual...

I rarely go on FB. I have no interest in seeing my friend's post pics of their dinner. I created a "close friends" list so that I can see when they post something. And that's about all I check.
I also dislike that if I like or comment on something, it automatically feeds into their newsfeed. This is a ridiculous feature made for stalkers.
