Of course I don't know anything about your area, but in the GTA (Greter Toronto Area) house prices went up 20 % in 2016, and some suggest this year they may rise by another 25 %! So maybe it would be best to wait a bit...And you might get yourself a cheap mouse with Blue Tooth connection where you plug the thingy into the USB on the laptop...

I ditto Chuck! Also, I use a mouse with a laptop by plugging a little chip into a slot at the side of the conputer, and the mouse works.
