Re: Aba

Thank you, dear Presta. Yes, who listens that is young, and those who do, are by then too far gone to do anything about it, but rue, and isn't this not true? Your praise, I do take, humbly.

Re: dear friend

Aww, it made me so sad for sir Wiley. He has always been a source for inspiration to the young and a most kind-hearted one, I have always loved. You, of course, are my encouragement.

Aba

This, what you have written, is touchingly poignant. Sadly, it is, at times, a truth in life, and who that is young listens? Yet, a focus upon such thoughts proves futile to many, if not most. You have again done a marvelous job with your explanation and interpretation. Well done, dear Aba.

dear friend

You have touched my heart with this. I am watching our Wiley as ill health and age are creeping up on him. he suffers frustrations and sadness which can and does slip into depression as he thinks of what he used to do and has had to let go of. it breaks my heart to see him stand in the doorway to his workshop, now almost empty of tools. All of them given lovingly to family. The emptiness though reminds him of what just a few years ago he could do.

You are a marvelous writer and thank you for your remarks at my post. I felt as though the Dean had praised my works.

What an interesting post.  I find it quite enthralling since, come July (my birthday month) I will consider myself geriatric.  Eighty is the best time to do that, isn't it?

Many people feel that way until they can find that special someone.
