Returning from a European spring to a Canadian near-winter was a bit of a bummer - no daffodils and tulips visible here! The baseball game today did give me a sense of spring and was fun, even if my Blue Jays lost to those mold-feathered birds of Baltimore...

Just like in Australia, the footy season heralded Spring though Winter was not so harsh or long.

I am still enjoying the Hockey up here.
