I agree, it takes a lot more than marching in a hat and wearing a shirt.

It's quite a hoot that he is complaining in one minute of no one wanting to do it anymore and then the next nixing all your ideas on how to get some new blood....sigh

Having been a woman in business and "wall st" for the past 20 years, I can say it's still a boy's world, but the women run the show. Women are by FAR the minority (even factoring in actual minorities) but the few who climb the ladder literally rule the roost. They get the most done, efficiently and without ego. They cut through the games and don't waste time swinging their big sticks around. I tend to think that most men know, at least secretly, that if women put their minds to it, it's the men that wouldn't be needed.

Well women can do it just as well as men, not everyone of course, but that applies to all.
We are insured by the Water board so there's no problem. The only thing if one needs a washer one usually gets two new taps..

Wait I am confused. On one hand he says that kids don't want to do hands on work and there aren't enough plumbers...but as soon as you suggesy an idea to bring in minority groups and women he suddenly doesn't have enough work coming in for that. Makes me feel like nothing has changed. There is a Good ol' boys club attitude here.
