Taps, I'm so glad you are okay! A few years ago, we had a tornado wipe out a cemetery that my family is buried in. I found my great-grandparents stone about a mile away from the cemetery! The cemetery was filled with trees, and flowers before the tornado hit. Now it's just an eerie place to visit.

Tornadoes are pretty terrible events...so glad that you are fine and praying that there were no deaths. How awful to loose everything in a whilr that is so terrifying...though if something had to be flattened and so long as no one was harmed, a Wal Mart won't leave me broken up.

Glad to hear you're safe. I have a real fear of tornados. Being from the northeast, I'm used to hurricanes and nor'easters... but there is always plenty of warning time. I don't think it's a coincidence that the bible belt is also in the tornado belt.

I see that Annicita is getting some storms as well...I have never seen a tornado. My dad once saw one out in the ocean when he was at Ocean City. I am sure that must have been terrifying.

Goodness Taps I would have thought tornado protection would have been at the top of the agenda in a rich country.

Glad it missed you. It was on the news here. Tornadoes are frightening. Hope all is well. I didn't know about the one in 1925. Horrid. I always think of Dorothy in Wizard of Oz when I hear about tornadoes in Kansas... Be safe, be well.
