I think the first thing I'd do in a new town is take a long drive and check out the area... with GPS so as not to get lost!

Though I've traveled quite a but in my lifetime, I have never moved to a new town. I think that if I had, I would have looked for a good church fellowship.

Oriente myself to the stores. Also, I'm not sure showing Winston with Beverly Hillbillies was degrading toward the upwardly mobile at that time. Many still smoked. Just a thought.
