Taking medicine is like playing with fire.  But, we do live longer than people used to.  My Grandpa died of pneumonia at age 53 or 54, and I'm already two years older than my grandma who had "sugar diabetes" (they don't call it that anymore).  I think I would be dead now if it wasn't for the multitude of antibiotics they gave me in the hospital.

Well, rest and ensuring that you don't catch a chill is the second best treatment. be sure to keep yourself hydrated so that you don't have A'Fib troubles. You know that you are not well so we who love you are praying for you to be a good girl and get better soon.

PS book can wait unless it is something that will keep you sitting quietly. Not if you feel unwell.

Pat

I know what you mean! In addition to antibiotics our meat gets 'polluted' with growth hormones! Even farmed fish (esp. Atlantic Salmon) is fed that stuff - not good! Honey is still fairly pure, thoug, LOL...And I really hope you'll get over this soon...

Yes well I usually take a small dose if I am worried Pat. Sadly most things list problems that might occur, probably as a safeguard against legal damages. This has been a real baddy if it is the same as we have had and why not it could come or go on a plane so easily these days. I do hope you feel better soon.

I feel that antibiotics are over prescribed. And if it's a cold, flu, viral something, they're not going to work, anyway.

Chicken soup and put some Vicks on the bottom of bare feet, then wear socks over that when you go to bed. It actually works. I hate antibiotics too - and am sure they are one of the reasons my problems are ongoing! SO have QUIT taking them.
