What everyone else says, and...

Hot'n'sour soup... really good kind, with lots of stuff in it, lots of flavor and the best sort of hot... sriracha, I suspect, and lime.

Also, one of the teas at our party yesterday is one that simply says Lemon, Ginger, and Manuka Honey on the label, but also has licorice root, elderflower, fennel seed, lemon verbena, and turmeric. If that doesn't heal what ails ya, at least it has a great flavor!

Pat

I'm glad you're feeling better! Keep taking spoonfuls of honey, as my Mom said...

So sorry you have been sick.  I am amazed you keep up on your writing even when you must not feel well enough to do it.

why oh why does it take us so long to get to the goddess stage....shouldn't it be earlier?

I do hope you are feeling better soon. My ex mother in law made a drink of cardamon and cinnamon mixed in hot water. Hard to drink but it made it go away faster

Resp. illnesses are bad here too; my doc told me I'm lucky

to have avoided a hosp. stay with my lungs; it ain't over yet though so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Hope you get over yours soon.  M. Etheridge is a great artist in my opinion too. I think your daughter will love it. Love the truisms about women and aging; makes me feel better too..:)

p.s. - I really like your idea about immigration; wish others would realize how much better we all could be in this country if we approached problems like this one with common sense and a humane mindset.
