well a lot of the mechanics around us charge 100 an hour...one charges 70
but the other charges less...not sure what his hourly rate is but much cheaper.

Good thing you shopped around. Mechanical work can be so darn expensive. So important it is to look around for the best deal and most reputable entity.

Don't you guys have to have a compulsory check over. We are not alowed on the road otherwise , once a year. £80. Of course it costs a lot more because one usually has a oil change and extra overall called a service an extra £150 if one is lucky.
