Still catching up. But the pastor in Toronto get the prize, or rather the congregation! That's so far out there, I'm lost.

This is so very good. This period and how it advances to really bad before the Lord returns a second time is all covered in many chapters and books of the Bible. I particularly like the Revelations version. We are so close to really bad times. I will not take any instrument into my hand or any mark on it to allow me to make purchases. If it is necessary to starve I will as horrible as that would be. I know I will live after death here and it is not by being just good of sorts but by accepting salvation from Jesus. I will go to heaven and will not regret anything. I have no doubt all The Bible says is true.
Do you care if I copy this post?

It may be changing but I don't believe it will ever be wiped out! Too many pray and their prayers will be heard and those on the wrong side of the fence so to speak will suffer the wrath of the Lord! sam

Throughout modern history, perhaps even before modern history, religions are responsible for more bloodshed than we, collectively, care to admit. Yet it is a fact if one has decency and the urge to do good, one need not belong to any specific church to be decent or do good. Conversely, no matter how pious one believes himself to be, he is just a 'fellow traveller' if in real life he is neither decent nor willing to do good. It is the humanity within a person that counts, not the church he professes to belong to.

I started to read this and then when I reached your views of the Pope I stopped. I am a Protestant from a time when all things Catholic were the devil. Well I grew up to make up my own mind and I find one Church as difficult as another...why?They are all filled with people. Anyway I personally feel affended by your abvious distaste for the current Pope. He is for me a man trying hard to bring unity between the divided religions. He really tries to walk in the shoes of the Fisherman who by the way, was also a man and a sinner.

It is amazing how Christian perseuctions are being ignored. One would think that there would be reports to try to help minorities everywhere but apparently not.

VERY informative, and depressing. But we need to know, thanks. The worst persecutors of Christians? Very likely it is Muslim groups?
