Most tellingly done and with a flourish that I so love. The picture shows to me the old-world charm of a bygone era.

ReNaut
It used to be a sad day in a village Naut, well all were a kind of near relation or friend of someone in the family. Rather different now those little cottages bought for holiday homes.

Exquisitly done, and very touching. You brought to life a day a man was laid to rest - and I was there with you...

Re: Kabu
A lot of those trees have been cut down Kabu . Some have had a kind of rust or something similar. I suppose it can travel on planes or birds etc. Although there are still quite a few trees that seem to have shaken it off.

Re: Pat
I did not want to make anyone feel sad Pat. I was there and I did feel sad but it was for a different reason.

Your poem is full of individuals each in their own world, and part of the shared world, too. Individual and universal at the same time.

think of this cow dog and others, left behind. Wow!
