I can just see that house, what a cozy place. I've never tried chili

for breakfast, but it sounds like a great idea. I love salsa on scrambled eggs.

I was a picky eater as a child also. But I couldn't do chili for breakfast, then or now! LOL.

Well one man's meat . i cannot honestly remember what we had for breakfast as kids. I do remember my youngest brother was 15 years younger. Mother was giving him something he seemed to like. Dad came in and said why are you giving that boy cat food?.

The labels had come off in the damp atmosphere and one did not waste food in those days. Funny though the POWs used to buy it very often and I shouldn't think they kept a cat.

TAPS

Chili for breakies - unusual indeed, although come to think of it, I've had hash brown taters, stewed tomatoes and brown beans with my bacon and eggs...But best of all are your memories, of course...

I must try that for Wiley I could never eat breakfast. Like you wheatbix as it was in Australia went soggy and the hot milk got a skim on it. I still never eat breakfast. Just a black coffee the only coffee for the day.
