A wonderful post.  Even though it is sad, it is also filled with goodness and love.

Some people come into our lives as gifts, and leave as gifts. Surely these two people were that to you. You poem is beautiful, as is the story behind it. I don't judge what he did. I am only sorry he wasn't here longer. And I hope he left you with a happy thought in remembering him, for surely he would not want tears. And if he has a message, then you will know it. Well done, my friend.

I do not believe that such suicide is a sin beyond redemption. I believe her will be sitting there on the other side of that bridge that divides with laughter and heaps of jokes and stories to keep you laughing forever and beyond.

it is sad to not fight on but it is wrong to judge another's decision which is what churches do.

A very powerful poem with a powerful background story. Thank you for providing the background story. That helped enhance the poem's effect on me.

Such a sad poem, but one of life's realities.
