The stories our stuffed animals could tell from back in the day...The waiting is the hardest part.

Re: Kabu
Goodness that was an expensive toy, I have a metal horse that was given to my young brother, well you know when he was young, when he was a bit older he sold it to me for a fiver. I expect it is a collectors item now one could ride it by pressing down on the pedals, the trouble was there was not many smooth places around us at the time.

Re RPresta
No idea RP but I think they can stay open all the time if they like. The idea was not to have a turn out of a rowdy crowd at a certain time. That poem must have been in the old days when the pubs opened at 10am and closed at 10am. We used to serve quite a number of pubs with paraffin. In those days one felt obliged to reciprocate. It was much to cold to drink cold beer so we usually bought bottles of Guinness I remember seeing about 50 bottles on a shelf in the store shed.

Your teddy bear reminded me of my son Christopher's teddy bear. He came out for Mik's wedding alone because his daughter had been born two weeks prior. He went through his childhood boxes I have been keeping for him. He came across his teddy bear that need some stuffing badly! He took it along with him and fixed him up and then gave the teddy to his daughter! So sweet! sam

Poor bear. Interesting poem. But more interesting is that you'd be in the pub waiting and waiting and waiting for the bar to open! lol! What time do the bars open over there?

I have no idea what happened to my cuddle doggie but I gave my walking doll to my Granddaughter. She can sell it for big money now if she ever wants to.
