I remember my parents sending parcels for Michael Terry and Joe, my three oldest brothers during WW2 and me in France during the 'Cold War' after Korea.

I remember My great aunt would receive parcels from her sister in USA during the war.

I can't remember being offered anything from it though. I did write to the providers

daughter for years, Just thought of it.

My dil and I used to send care packages to my son when he was overseas.

The most important item found in those packages is always the Care, no matter how it is wrapped...
