I try really hard to keep a positive attitude about the whole thing and to show respect no matter whether it is Dem or Rep in office. I also pray for our POTUS and our leaders. It has to be a horribly stressful job to have.

The attitude needs to be a respectful one.
The outlook has to be based in reality with the goal being to improve.
As far as philosophy goes, that really depends on one' politic. Both conservative and liberal type can work. It is just a matter of what fits.
