I guess it really doesn't matter what I think because I am so far removed from that part of the world.  But, I am wondering what I might do if such happened here.

I cannot say that I am surprised by this development. I am disappointed by it.

How interesting.....

Here we have Nautikos soliciting our opinions on a matter of religious doctrine.  Perhaps there is hope for you yet,  my friend!  LOL!  But here is my opinion:

First,  the Islamic call to worship in a Christian cathedral is insane and obscene.  The Christians who made it happen are fools,  and need to go back and read the First Commandment in the Bible.

Second,  it always strikes me as funny that people describe different religions as having different Gods.  Presumably there is only one supreme God.  The difference is in the way the different groups describe Him and worship Him.  The founder of Christianity  (Jesus)  worshipped by sacrificing himself,  after teaching us his Truth.  The founder of Islam  (Mohammed)  worshipped by conquering,  plundering,  enslaving and killing.

This trend,  started by the founders,  is continuing with the incident in question.  The Christians are sacrificing their place of worship,  and their teachings.  The Muslims are moving in,  and it tihis case they didn't even have to kill anyone to do it!!  So sad......

There was a lot here and I just don't know except that it's not about the houses of worship if one's temple is not a shrine unto the Lord, first! sam
