You are so reckless I think 10 years would be better, but I must admit I have just thrown out a 2014 diary with nothing written in it at all. Also a jar of cod liver oil tablets out of date, also several snacks out of date. Well need I say more it is a start.

There you are Pat, I think I bought it 15 years ago, some kind of recorder if I can remember. Anyway it does not take up much room, one day I will reexamine its potential.

getting rid of useless, forgotten things is a lot like bringing out your dead. You know you really ought to get rid of it, but there's something sad and mournful about it.

My rule love is that if I haven't used something for two years it is time to toss it. So stuff goes to the Bible mission shop. But collectables, they fill this cottage to the attic.
