We've got one show every day that's really neat! It's called 'How it's Made', and it's fascinating. Today they showed how they make tissue paper, socket wrenches, slippers, fountain pens and luxury watches...

I don't care for the reality tv shows nor the Jerry Springers of the world. Sensationalism or trash tv are the money makers.

Another wonderful post. I remember back to the sacking of Nixon...we in Australia could not believe that could happen to THE President. It was like someone sacked our Queen. Life moved on and the Vietnam War became something one didn't talk much about because it was so divisive.
I had no interest in American party politics, had grown up believing that Americans had right and a bit further right parties and to mention Russia or communism was like talking dirty.
Now I don't know what to make of what has happened. 8 years of watching a wonderful human being being vilified and blamed for everything that happened around the World and now this coming and folks I have cared for are prepared to be accepting of whatever he says does or is, because they are so polarized in their political views, I just want to weep.
Our silly Prince as he sees himself up here, is going to be eaten in one gulp by what is coming.

Reality TV has really hurt TV. There are some good reality shows (i.e. Pawn Stars, Undercover Boss, Shark Tank), but some of them are icky.
I am not surprised about such a blacklist. I also would not be surprised if in 2020, Trump were to lose in the primary.

I suppose all one is really watching is people doing what in their right minds they would not dream of doing. Perhaps it will all seem like comics as intelligence grows.
