Re: STA
My point of view is that both Clinton and Trump have there own special brand of dispicability. I voted third party with no regrets. Both parties are corrupt to the core. We just can't depend on the elites to do what is best for the majority of the american people. The elites take care of the elites. Trumps words are meaningless. Look at his cabinets norminations. He talks about jobs and he nominates Puzner an anti union an pro-robot man. This man has no interest in the working stiff.
At some point Americans will have to take off the blinders and realize that as long as big money controls these parties it's big money who they will answer to. Tillerson is not going do what is best for the American people his history proves that and Trump is right in the hip pocket of Exxon.
It is a third party controlled by money from the people that's needed. Sanders had the right idea but I doubt he will get the backing he needs as long as he under the wing of the democratic party. No one is going to bit the hands that feeds them. Thats why Trump is putting the same old crowd back into the White house. You got Mauchin the gangster that help engineer the realestate crash. The same old circus just different performers. Sorry to be so long winded, I just can't help myself.

First off, I am not defending Trump, and I agree with some of your points. I am still in a state of vast relief that Hillary and her gang did not win, and I am just kind of amused while watching / reading how others are reacting.
I would say here that the Clintons were just as guilty as Trump, even more guilty I think, in mixing their business with their political offices. The Clintons were far worse, I think, because they DID NOT HAVE legitimate businesses, like Trump does. So they had to create the Clinton Global Initiative or the Clinton Foundation, whatever it is called, so that they could SELL their political influence in exchange for millions and millions of dollars.
Now, the money has stopped flowing in, because they lost the election and they no longer have any influence to sell. This exposes the operation for the sham that it was, and illegal too, though they may never be prosecuted for it. But I wonder if you would be condemning the corrupt Clintons as urgently, if they had won.......

I feel like I'm just an old lady biding time. I wish I could get excited about a new POTUS, but I just can't muster any joy or pride or expectations.

he is the sort of character that I have spent my life avoiding. Thirty years ago I said that if I saw him I would cross over the street to avoid having to walk past him. leopards don't change their spots.

Nothing that he has done surprises me. His agenda was never hidden. His business practices gave us insight into his character and what to expect.
