Re: Katray

We have to dream sometimes, one never knows what goes on in food preperation areas,

good thing at times. Nice to have you back.

Re: Ciel

I think the lad who refused the omlette is too particular now, I hope it does not stem from his early days. Yes stove top would not be fatal.

Poignant and dreamy-quality poem, C C T; excellent!

No food off the floor for me either; glad Marie spilled the beans..:)

Julia Child used to scoop up the pan-fried whatever

that landed on the stovetop, and put it back in the pan, saying, "No one is in the kitche with you!" but I think she'd have drawn the line at the floor.

Re: anibanerjee

I would think not much difference to a chaste one . It's all in the mind and a few germs.

Yes kids are kids forever.

Re: RPresta

Wonder what a fallen omelette tastes like? Will have to try once,I think. Children keep doin' that all the time. Liked the close.

Many a time love has turned out that way, a very relateable poem.

Re: Kabu

Now stand in the corner. No look me straight in the eye. I might not reminisce if you think I would bother to make this up. I don't suppose you believed me when I said I watched my brother run around with a mouse in his mouth, he won't believe it either but I can see it as plain as day. I can even watch you watering a tomato plant but you were only a little un.

Re: Sam

Well sam when I see a mother poking a dummy back into a baby's mouth after picking it up of the floor, it gives me the creeps.

I would not eat a fried egg that fell on the floor unless

you could scoop it up within 5 seconds... and then not unless I was really hungry.
