Re:
Thanks Sam It really is a job to keep writing new stuff but there is plenty of old ropey work to improve on.

Re:Pat
Well Pat I have just found a bottle of whiskey , I don't like it very much but if mixed with sugar it seems to relieve the tension if nothing else . Sadly not many are truly hygiene conscious, those little bottles are handy but when the supermarket girls cough over one as they check the goods it all seems a bit inevitable.

I think there's a lot of human flu going around this neck of the woods.
I keep using the alcohol gel to kill off 99.9% of the germs, and trying hard to keep my fingers away from my nose. Mizzerable winter drizzles anyway. Stay warm and dry, dear friend. Keep writing those lovely wistful poems.

Re: Re: Re: Taps
Thanks Taps I like pineapples . I rarely touch chicken having been a poultry farmer although I don't mind if they are free range, but of course now this bird flu is around it sort of puts one off of chicken. One thing I am pretty tough only look sixteen hundred at the moment. We never appreciate it when we feel really fit. I must try and remember that.

Re: Re: CCT
Please take care of yourself....chicken soup, garlic soup, and lots of pineapple juice will help. Pineapple juice has a special enzyme that fights colds and flu.

Re: RPresta;;;.
Thank you , as I told Taps colds are all around here, sadly people do not take precautions
We keep spraying door handles etc and advising would be visitors not to call. Although the chap Archie who helps me takes no notice he say his wife has had a cold for weeks .
Also I read a piece in the paper about folk greeting each other with a kiss and then saying I should not have done that.

Re:
The flu is all around us Taps, I am fighting my way to through it,but it is not the bird flu, when folk say I have had a cold for a month at the check out desk cough, cough. no wonder. just a hint if you have a cold keep wrapped up Arthur says I am running a temperature so I do not feel the cold. Perhaps that is how folk keel over here.

I remember a decade ago, when the Avian Bird Flu was a big thing, but things quieted down quickly, like the Swine Flu...Those demons can haunt us nastily until that special someone comes along.
