I have never heard of a mentor so ill-suited, regardless of whether or not one continues on in the teaching profession.

When I did my student teaching I had a horrible mentor who would belittle students but I had a drive to be better than her and I forged ahead! sam

Very interesting!
Sad about calling a child evil though; I've heard pre-school teachers do that; they are in the wrong profession in my view.

your teaching experience and learning will always come in handy. I dii years of study including nurse education and I never enjoyed teaching.
