not a nice guy and not a nice roll model for you when looking for love with a man. i hate to say this but you are definitely better off with him out of your life.

Having a parent leave one another is difficult enough let alone having it be with a former classmate...It does look like you were better off cutting ties with him.

Its a sad story and you have shown the courage to talk about it, share it.... Sometimes we don't talk or share things that disturb us within and burden our hearts.

Thank you for sharing such a deeply moving and painful story with us. I can only feel sorrow for you and admire your strength as a Survivor of such abusive dysfunction. It appears your father has much work to do to make amends.
