My Christmas is now much simpler than it used to be. I don't go where I don't want to go and I don't buy what I don't want to buy. I'm not really selfish, I'm old enough to just like to keep it simple.

I don't remember our mom taking us shopping much during the holidays. Between the commercials on tv during cartoon time and flyers in the mail we would make up our wish list.

I really applaud this post.
Yes we will have a nice meal, on Christmas day for us.
and a small surprise I guess...well I know. I have had huge Christmas days with family but i love our loving time together. Each year is precious.
And I am completely off the commercialization and the money people spend on "stuff" Well sometimes it can be wonderful but it just isn't me.

I hope the ham and the celebration are delicious and happily
memorable. I do remember having a lot more fun at Christmastime when the kids were little and got so excited about it. Peace, harmony and joy to you and yours...
