                I remember getting letters in the mail.  Cards for all holidays and birthdays.  Now it's junk and bills!

                I think that if I wrote a letter in cursive writing my grandchildren wouldn't be able to read it. no one uses it anymore so it seems.

                Yet another one in the slew of reasons that make me avoid FB like the bubonic plague (which, luckily, isn't difficult, LOL). But letter-writing is a vanishing art anyway, even without FB. I'm guilty myself...

                I think it has something to do now with when posts are made public. Facebook changes things without any notice ahead of time or an announcement, and these messes occur.
  We have lost something with the decline in letter writing.
