Re: Re: Aba
I can tell you are indeed an optimist by nature. I loved the story about the prayers. And I have waited for the Gypsies to finish playing their music before I gave them a couple of dollars, because it was so pretty to listen to.

How I wish that those bombarding go away, and that you recover your usual cheerfulness soon. But then you are a fine writer imho.

Re: Aba
Hi Presta dear, by nature I am an abiding optimist so these bouts do not affect me for long and as I have concluded in the last that it was gone in time with trust in the supreme power. Actually I read a story that a beggar caming to the door of a lady for food, singing psalms. The lady delayed giving him alms as she wanted to hear his beautiful rendition . Likewise, when God delays answering our prayers, don't get frustrated. He is liking the prayers and wants to hear some more. Thank you for your appreciating as always.

I had an email today--a long one--from my daughter-in-law who right now thinks that everything is coming down on her and is so unhappy over so many things, some of which whould not really bother me, but to her--terrible. Her complaint sounded like your sonnet only not in poetic form. I enjoyed reading yours.

I know for me there is so much bombarding my brain and trying to remain cheerful at this time of the year is a real exhausting chore. Writing something meanigful as you have just done here, is beyond me so well done.

Aba
Oh, I have never written a sonnet. Good for you, and the words were there! Sounds like you aren't in the best of moods, at least for writing right now, but yes, tomorrow will be better. Or the next day. Sometimes we need to have a break to refresh and renew. No words are coming to me right now that are worth composing into attempts at poetry. Nicely done and well-written, dear Aba!
