I suppose children used to follow in the parents trade if there was an opening.Some families tend to be more business like. I suppose you have been unlucky so far in your choice of sales etc. Your mum's choice was limited but you have the world to exploit if you can only come up with something every body wants.

with such an industious and talented Mother, no wonder you are gifted as well. Not everyone is able to make a shilling go as far as a pound as they used to say, but you can turn your hand to anything. Plus you are a real sweetie and full of kindness.

We find in our lives that we are very similar to our parents. I started realizing that recently.
