I don't listen to the NPR. I prefer music which is soothing or keeps me going.

I must confess - virtually the only time I listen to the radio is in my car, and even then it's mostly the discs I feed into its slot. We have doxens and dozens of stations here, but I really don't like the shlock they dispense. The CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corp) used to have an excellent station that played classical music all day, but that's gone - not enough listeners, I guess. And I don't think we get NPR at all...

I never seem to be in when the interesting projects are aired, but I expect there are millions who still love listening to their favorite programs. Keeps you well informed.

Sigh...Wiley is hooked on news so I tune out and stay with old faithful, my laptop.
