I myself call it soda pop. Down south, people call soda coke, which I attribute to Coke being founded and still remaining in Georgia.

We used to say someone was "in the bag" when drunk, or
that something was "my bag" meaning my talent or habit. He wanted me to go with him to the motocross but I told him that's not my bag.
