Yes Arthur said it might be that tawny cat that prowls around eating the food, but I know it is the hedgies.

Yes Pat they are still eating at present, I don't think they would have made it eating slugs, No it's rough digging time but my gardener says I don't dig deep enough.

Poignant poem!! It's cold in my neck of the woods and I'm not used to it this early in the season! But it's supposed to start warming up a bit come Thursday and I am ready for it now! lol sam

Archie can get himself into a snit at times, it seems. It's too cold to be out and about unless one wants to be. The poem was a lovely  bit of wistful nostalgia and melancholy yet light and enjoyable. Thank you.
