It looks like the passage of time is improving her situation...I found the length of your entry to be just fine.

Good to read you even if the story gives rise in me to the natural fear I have for some types of dogs. You're a brave lady!!!!!!!!

I know you well enough to know that you will work it out even if it means going short yourself.

I was reminded of my Boo snake back in Australia. She was a very gentle loving reptile, infact Ella as a baby would stand on her and jump um and down and Boo would just stay still and let the baby play...but I don't know why but she grew to dislike little boys. maybe their overexcited voices may be they squeezed her tight...she bit one or two and I let her know with very angry words and put her back into her cage. I probably had for her a very unhappy or angry odour and she always wanted to please me. Well after being reprimanded and given enough time to think about it, if held by a little boy she would snap the air around them giving me time to take her back. never bit one again but the dislike obviously remained.

What a situation...but if anyone can make it come out right, it would be you.

Maybe it would help to do the same as before--

Putting some of the lad's clothing or bedding into her kennel to sleep with?

It is a shame, I think a nice home for her would be best, but I know how you love them all.

I'm sure you'll be walking on eggs until you get the two to be friends.  Tough situation.
