It is a very fitting color for this time of the year.

Well it will race away, sadly some have told me it is the most miserable time for them. I would in invite them for dinner but they might want to stay.

This image struck a cord in my memory somewhere - something to do with one of the the houses where I was raised, and I can't quite put my finger on what it is. I enjoy your sentiment too.

It's a beautiful thought and beautifully expressed. Gold is dear these days, as my mom would have said.

Very appropriate for the season, even if the 'hope' part of it is somewhat diminished for many of us...

Love the image of the golden thread & red silk... and your way of
explaining it. Nicely done.

Well, I don't know exactly what happened here. This was going to be a much longer post, but I can't seem to do anything right anymore and my fingers danced on the wrong key, and there it went. I guess that I will just let it be and perhaps continue with what I had in mind on the morrow.

What a lovely sentiment and image!
Here, today is that special blue/green of the great big blue spruce outside my window, and white as the snow falls like it means it, and what I can see of sky is also white. And now, I will be looking for the gold thread running through...
