My dad always laughed about an incident of his. Mom had sent him to the post office to get some stamps for the Christmas cards. There was a long line with boxes and things and the PO was overly warm because of cold weather outside. Dad did one of those stinky ones and suddenly the line began to get shorter. A couple of teen girls left in a hurry, one of the saying: "Let's get outta heah gul, that old man fotted." Even the clerk said, "Are you sure you don't need more than stamps?"

Well it can come in handy in the store. If I lose Wiley somewhere I can usually find him with my nose.
