Re:sam

Well people seem to like their pickles in the buff as it might seem. I like them mature pickled walnuts No1.

Crushing apples beside her to make cider! I better behave, what with Church

and all. Chumpet is good for the soul, but too soul-ish for the spirit. Thanks for the entertainment - a little bit of myth, Eden, blogs, and you! ShalomShalom (ta!)

Re: I can imagine carmelised onion. or pickle.

Well if you like marmalade Pat, I really like pickled walnuts but they only put five in a jar,

I used to make them but as I no longer own the walnut trees that are here I just let the rooks take them.

Re:Kabu

I wonder why, he has been peering over my shoulder saying is that like me, I told him to sit with a bucket over his head. Sometimes he looks a thousand years old and another as if he was born yesterday.

Re: C_C_T

Thank you RP. No I have to simulate a nice experience and make sure he uses my jar.

Anyway some passing visitors bought several jars and explained that they lived in the Alps in a wooden house.

Archie is really into making jam...I would rather be me as well.

CCT

Tell Archie from someone who's very fond of apricot jam that to add sultanas to it is a crime against the palate...And I see Chumpet is adopting the role of psychoanalyst - does he have the proper credentials?

C_C_T

I like the line about 'surrendering to myself.' Good one. I wouldn't care for any of the things Archie brought over, but I'm glad if someone else does. LOL.

I don't know about apricot and sultanas...but one has to try new stuff sometimes. Chumpet seems pretty up beat today.

I can imagine carmelised onion. or pickle.

but not both. I've been thinking about mixing orange marmalade into jellied whole cranberry sauce as an experiment.  Heading to the store for some marmalade...
