Having been a demo person as well I understand why they did it. They could lose their contract with that particular vendor/store. So they bring in people from another city if necessary to complete the contract on time. Having said that, it does not mean I condone their slovenly behavior. I always cleaned my mess and usually what others had left without further compensation.
Some people just don't have a good work ethic. Hopefully it was a one time thing.

I hope that you had a Happy Thanksgiving...I have a tendency of taking things to bed with me as well. Fortunately, for me, Melatonin wins in the end...I can see why a person like that at work would frazzle oneself.
