Re:

I am getting paid for the time I am there and I can ask for the overtime but so far I havent needed to ask as I start earlier to finish up.  I am sorry to hear that you say Walmart is known for the way they treat their employees, but I neve hear those comments from the people i know.  I know when I worked for Sears they would say things about Walmart but Sears treats their employees worse as they never give pay raises unless the minimu wage goes up.  Walmarts surpasses the min wage.

The job does seem to be quite the hassle, especially with big box store management acting like their typical selves. Hopefully, things work out there or you are able to find another job elsewhere.

But if u happen to hurt your back while moving those heavy boxes to another side, at that point, u will c just how evil upper management can be. I say to u before u injure yourself and incidentally, managers turn on u; I say don't move those heavy items get help... I'm talking from learnt experience about on the job injuries! An injury will turn your world upside down...

They should be paying you for all the time you are there working...even if just maneuvering items around to store your equipment.  Walmart is known for not caring about employees...so be careful and maybe look somewhere like Costco which pays better and treats their employees better as well.

Lanetay

Would it be possible for some of the Walmart workers to help you move things like heavy cases of champagne? And yes, charge for the time, you poor dear. Awful.
