I was lucky - didn't even realize I was depressed until it was all over! Book has arrived at the garage - picking it up tomorrow!

Pat
That drivel was not writtem by a PhD, as our Kabu suspects, but by a 'content writer', types who churn out stuff to fill mags of that kind...And I hope you're feeling better...

I seem to be on the right medication for depression so the doc will probably cut me off it.

I was depressed once Pat after looking after someone for years. So I thought I would go and sit in the Church and find peace. The door was locked. Sometimes it can be a chemical lacking in the brain so a Doctor told me. One has to find the right one though. The Doctor also said the trouble is when folk feel better they stop taking the pills and it starts again. Perhaps I made that up, but I know it is true,

Loving this post....
Well Duh!!! Actually I know that I am really depressed when I sleep too much...
But I am betting some 20 something did a PHd on depression in the elderly and came up with this Gem...I find a lot of nonsense that a person has known for years and years comes up as a new thought ot discovery. Young people ought to spend more time Listening to their Grandparents like in the times past. Save themselves a lot of silly research.
