Re: Annicta

Thank you A. I guess we make our own decisions over things but I am glad you did not think it be scornful of woman.

Re: RPresta

It is a strange conversion RP. Sometimes one does not remember how the idea was invoked. It was not meant to be cruel probably how someone felt to me when I was young.

It's a loving poem, not sad to me, but more touched with melancholy. Must be the rain... I enjoyed reading it very much.

Re: FS

The trouble is we love the rain in summer, but receive more in winter. We all know sadness at times I'm afraid.

Those rainy days can create cabin fever. I find rainy days harder when they are rare. One gets used to days where one can go out easily...The sadness felt is incredibly intense.

Re: Naut.

Grown originally from a seed one tree which I think is now dying. The most cherished English cooking apple it goes too mush when cooked and there is also a gin that includes it ,but I have never seen that product. Cheers Naut,

I don't think I've ever heard of a Bramley apple, let alone tasted one...But the poem of the thorn woman is intriguing! It clearly is a lady one must approach with great care...

Only heartbreak comes from loving this creature. it is her reason for being to enslave man so that she may mate and continue making mockery of man. The store will have another ribbon.

The nurture of flowers and fruits, "reading their vegetable minds"

brings about some poetry that is almost beyond existential. I'm wondering what the cost of recovering the ribbon would be... maybe just leave it.
