Re: Lanetay

I usually grab a bag of green ones and then throw the last couple away, the birds do not seem to like them,

I am not energetic enough to make anything alone jams .  Bananas ripen to fast to have so many you would have to use up in something

Re: shobana

Well I suppose one might think the more tears shed the greater the misfortune. Only it does not work like that, well I don't think it does,

Re: I have trouble using bananas before they go soft, and only buy

I usually buy them green Pat but as you say it is a race against time to beat them going speckled.

Re: Mmm... exotic jams!

I don't really know Ciel Apple butter sounds rather nice but one would have to put up with bananas browning I would think.

Sounds like Archie is doing okay with that plan. How nice that you donate to the charities also! I think your poem has a balance to it that is delightful and insightful! Really deeper than it seems on the surface, like so many things...

It sounds like the gig works out very well for Archie...A poem that touches upon the emotions well.

That's great CC about the donation you make. I liked your poem as it resonates well with the world at the moment, not too much tears or happiness - I wonder why everything has to be weighed out..

I have trouble using bananas before they go soft, and only buy

two at a time. They're very good for my disgestive issues and add a wonderful thickening to fruit juice smoothies, but some days I just get too lazy to mess with putting all that into the blender.

Mmm... exotic jams!

My Maryland daughter has won some county fair awards for her apple butters.  I wonder if banana butter is a thing... I only like the bananas when they are slightly green on the ends. Older than that, they are soon fit only for making banana breads.
