This is why I don't watch TV.
I watch movies on Netflix and from Amazon and other sources, also documentary and entertainment shows, and I watch particular shows from Masterpiece Theater. Virtually no commercials.
If there were a truly journalistic news source, I'd watch that. But mostly, I have totally disconnected from commercial TV, and I am better for it: more relaxed, for one thing, and free of the TV scheduling of shows.

a mathematical description of the elementary particles of matter and the electromagnetic, weak, and strong forces by which they interact.
I thought since I needed to look it up you may want to see it here.
At the moment we are watching a series on Netflix "The Fosters" and it is full of so much drama one gets to forget the real world and its real life horrors.
