Re: Re: RPresta
I love English humor. Find it quite funny; the dryness, you know.

Re: RPresta
Thank you, RP. I would croak you a little duet if I could find another willing frog. Please do not fall off the lily leaf. English humour.

Perhaps it is because of the difference in the light pattern A. I suppose we could look it up on the net.

Re: Shobana
Thank you Shobana Yes I don't like to handle frogs too much unless they are little ones, I expect I shall have hundreds next year as I had 57 from my brother's pond, as long as they don't croak like they do in some places.

We set back our clocks this Sunday morning. That extra hour will be nice...The reader feels for the frog.

Frogs are always wanting to turn into a Prince...trouble is at sundown they still end up back at the pond sitting on a stone croaking away, yes the magic only lasts till sun down.

I love the little fable in poetry, and how frogs and nymphs have to
play out their roles before they allow their vulnerabilities to beautify them. I'd love to see this one illustrated and printed on fine, ivory colored paper...

How nice of the water nymph to complement the frog - always works. I loved this poem too CC. It is a little bit like Han Christian Anderson's stories.!

Our clocks are set back next week...interest how all the countries have a different day to set them back or forward depending on spring or fall.

Oh, this is such a sweet, upbeat, endearing poem. I just love everything about it! It says so much. Well done, indeed!
