Yes the reason I try to avoid too many invitations, as if I get any, is because one has to respond similarly and frankly I don't like eating just to show one is enjoying the process.

lOL, you really make me so glad that we just don't get hardly any visitors. I used to love to entertain. Elegant table setting, gourmet food I had spent hour over. House spotless, little boys scrubbed shiny.
Nice to look back on! nice to think, been there done that.
