My heart goes out to you during such a difficult time...Both the maternal and paternal sides of my family each have an issue with a cousin on heroin.

Dear Pen, I echo what our Kabu says..
I have shared sad, depressing information about my health issues and to a lesser extent, my own family's heartbreaking battles with addiction (one of the affected ones is still actively using and they have shut out anyone who tries to reach them with concern and sanity. ) I have only ever received support and positive feedback from the kind and caring souls here. I am so sorry for this loss; condolences to your family. Addiction is a horrible disease and epidemic everywhere it seems..
Please know this a safe place with folks who care and I include myself in that.

hey baby you say as little or as as much as you need to say. This site tries hard not to be judgmental and heaps of us have poured out our souls here and continue to. families broken and heartache and I remember years ago there was a lovely person here who's brother was in jail...he is a serial killer. I don't think that we are a bunch of people who judge , I think we work to support each other.
I am so sorry about your loss and sometimes when the drugs take over there is no easy way back. Sometimes it is just bad luck for getting drugs badly mixed that will kill when taken. I'll hold you in my prayers and in my arms tonight.
