Well what I do is just dig in the garden any papers I do not want to send for savage . Shredders really are a pain, well I think so.

Re: Taps

It will turn up exactly where you put it so you wouldn't lose track of it, at least that's how it goes for me when I do that...

While Niece was here, she asked me for a copy of one of my long-ago Blogit stories that she had heard about, and that I was sure I had kept.  I guess I didn't, for I can find it not, on neither the Internet, nor on shelves of papers.  Too bad I'm not more organized.

I have so many started book projects. Sometimes I think I will just delete them but then..maybe one day... My desk is a mess. Covered completely with stuff to give to the Bible Mission shop...trouble is I keep adding to it. so stuff is out of my closet, but not gone. Sigh!

I can only face that stack on my desk (and in a certain splash zone around it) by promising myself I will only do it a step or a stack or an area at a time, that I am not committed to the whole job just because I feel like starting on it.

Pat

I can TOTALLY relate to that! One of my current 'projects' is going through old and ancient files, and the questilon 'Why the hell did I keep it' arises often. But there's another one that raises its ugly head: 'Why the hell didn't I develop that one? And should I do it now?' That 's the one that keeps me awake at night...
